Niels Brock secures the maintenance of their historical properties with Upsite

Niels Brock is a self-governing institution with roots in a strong history and clear values. 

Founded on the merchant Niels Brock's legacy and vision, the school was established to educate young people in commerce, languages, and economics – a legacy that still shapes the institution's activities. 

Today, Niels Brock owns and operates over 40,000 m² of historical buildings in the inner city of Copenhagen, which require careful maintenance as part of their cultural-historical responsibility. 

Facility Manager Claus Villumsen is responsible for the buildings' operation, maintenance, and green transition. To gain an overview and efficiency in his work, he uses Upsite.

Niels Brock actively participates in the sustainability agenda

Niels Brock actively participates in the sustainability agenda with a number of targeted initiatives, particularly in energy, where they use green electricity and have a sharp focus on CO2 reduction. At the same time, they protect their historical buildings by making necessary improvements where conservation value permits.

With an ambition to prepare a full CSRD report from 2025, even though they are not legally obliged to do so, Niels Brock wants to be a role model for their students and future generations. They recognize the upcoming requirements and see a clear advantage in being ahead of the curve.
